Summer Camp: (In person) Session 2

Camp is offered on a sliding scale of $125-175.  Space is limited!

Join MOCA this summer as we explore mixed media, video and character creation. We will focus on the work of artist Nick Cave and his Soundsuits! This week long camp invites campers to envision alternate versions of themselves through the creation of their own Soundsuits. In addition to working with a variety of materials, youth use green screen technology with guidance of Teaching Artists to create a collective video to be shared at a virtual camp premiere and showcase on August 6th! 

MOCA Tucson will have COVID-19 safety protocols in place including mandatory masks at all times, temperature checks before campers join us each day, social distancing, and frequent hand-washing breaks. We are also limiting the number of campers to 12 to ensure proper social distancing. We will work outdoors on the plaza as the heat permits. We also ask that campers bring their own water bottles and snacks each day.
